Classes have begun for Afghan Refugee Women in Kyrgyzstan

We are so grateful! The new project for Afghan women has begun at the Hope Center in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The four-month long program will be rolled out in two steps. The first step will use a beginner Russian language book, and the second step would progress to a Level 1.
Upon completion of the program, the women will have a good foundation in the Russian language, which is one of the primary languages of Bishkek, as well as many of its surrounding countries. Having this basic grasp of the language enables them to seek work that would otherwise be unattainable to them. A sewing class will also be offered to students who wish to acquire this skill, providing even greater opportunities to find employment.
