On September 16, we started a new Russian language course for 12 Afghan refugees in Bishkek-Kyrgyzstan. Russian is one of 2 national languages in this country, and the participants want to learn it to improve their communication and access to job opportunities.

Some of these refugees are temporarily staying in the country while they make plans to relocate to other European countries.

At their request, we organized a two-month Russian language course to help them develop the language skills they need in their daily lives.

We hope that, by the end of the course, the participants will be better able to address language-related challenges at hospitals, schools, markets, workplaces, and within the wider community.
