The Source of Compassion Child Sponsorship Program is one of our important projects, created to support children and families who are facing difficult financial circumstances. Currently, we have 11 children in this program.
Since 2024, we have been providing monthly financial support to Ahmad and Mariyam, two children from an Afghan refugee family living in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Ahmad and Mariyam live with their mother, who is a single mother and currently unemployed. Because of her circumstances, she is unable to fully provide for the needs of her children.
This year, both Ahmad and Mariyam began the first grade of school. Through the support they receive from the sponsorship program, they have been able to obtain school supplies, uniforms, and other essential items needed for their education and daily lives.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve these children and to make a positive difference in their lives. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and have hope for a better future, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
Our desire is to develop and expand the SOC Child Sponsorship Program so that we can reach and support more children from families experiencing poverty and hardship. With additional sponsors, we can provide assistance to more children with their education, basic needs, and other essential expenses.
Would you consider sponsoring a child? Your support can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life and help provide opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach for them.
If you would like to sponsor a child or learn more about the SOC Child Sponsorship Program, please contact us. We would be happy to provide more information about the program and how you can become involved.
Together, we can help children feel supported, give them hope, and invest in a brighter future.
